On September 22nd 2008, I set sail from Norway and sailed all the way to Aruba with an impromptu, sometimes inexperienced, always crafty, often changing, but very happy crew. The trip took 6 months and in that period a lot of islands felt the presence of the AI crew.

I left AI on the hard on Aruba for 7 months, while I worked on the Vision of the Seas. When I returned I did a whirlwind tour of the Caribbean, before I sailed to Panama and met my brother Martin, Topi, Jacob and Elisabeth. Together we sailed from Panama to Galapagos and from there to French Polynesia. On Tahiti, Martin, Elisabeth and Jacob flew back to Norway and Einar and Kjersti joined me onboard.

The plan now is to leave French Polynesia and sail to Australia stopping in the Cook Islands, Fiji and New Caledonia along the way. In Australia, the plan is to sell African Innovation, so that I can return to Norway and return to to school.
